Established in 1916, Norsk Energi is a centre of competence in the fields of thermal energy, environment and safety. Our goal is to contribute to effective, environmentally friendly and safe use of energy, and abatement of CO2 emissions.

We employ 70 highly qualified specialists who work on a broad range of consultancy and engineering services closely with our clients from industry and public organisations.Most of our projects are related to saving of energy, reduction of harmful emissions, waste heat and renewable energy utilization. Our main office is in Oslo.

Since 1992, Norsk Energi has been continually involved in international projects for clients like the Norwegian MFA, Nordic Environmental Finance Corporation, World Bank, UNDP, etc. Our consultancy and advisory activities mainly focus at public and industrial sectors and on identifying viable projects, knowledge transfer, arranging workshops, practical feasibility studies and project management. Our geographic focus includes primarily Central and Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia.  

Vacant position Consultant, International Projects
We wish to expand our team with a full time consultant whose main task will be to strengthen our portfolio of international projects. This is for existing Norwegian and foreign clients and to develop new project opportunities in a highly dynamic and competitive marked of international consultancy.

The consultant will have be able to work on a broad range of projects with emphasis on energy and environment, to interact with local, Norwegian and international stakeholders, to lead the teams of international and local experts on behalf of Norsk Energi.  

International travel is required.

Qualifications
The right specialist will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A University degree in energy, environment or related fields.
  • International experience in the fields of energy and environment.
  • Relevant network of contacts.
  • Good skills in spoken and written English and Norwegian.
  • Knowledge of Russian is beneficial.
  • Good analytical skills.

Recent graduates will also be taken into consideration.
