JI and CDM Projects
– Identification and documentation of carbon offsets
Norsk Energi is actively working on international projects for the generation of carbon offsets under the Kyoto mechanisms of Joint Implementation (JI) and Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Within this field, we work primarily with projects related to renewable energy, energy conservations, energy efficiency and environmental management.
Norsk Energi is one of few consultancies in Norway with expertise in the fields of:
- Identification of JI and CDM projects including development of necessary documentation
for carbon offset generation i.e. PIN and PDD; and
- Assistance to authorities in building capacity and institutional framework for handling JI and CDM projects.
Norsk Energi has worked with these types of projects for more than 15 years, and through this time has built up a network of experts with a wealth of local knowledge in Eastern Europe, Russia and other CIS countries, as well as China. This means we can offer investors cost effective projects at low risk.
